If you’ve been following along here or on Instagram for any length of time, you know full well that I enjoy the creative task of making quilted pillow covers. I think these covers satisfy my longing for completed projects yet without taking the time and energy to make a full size quilt!
I love playing with fabrics. I enjoy browsing so many creative designs online, but seeing them and feeling the fabrics are so much more fun. That is my favorite part of owning my small Etsy shop. Since I don’t have room in my home for pillow after pillow, the next best thing is to make them for you.
Both of these are created to fit an 18 by 18 inch pillow form. I used the same method I taught in this tutorial for making them out of half square triangles.
Knowing full well I’d never use these pillow in my little boys’ bedroom, I enjoyed the process of making them anyway hoping they’d go to another home. I imagine them sitting quite nicely in a shared room by two little girls. You know, those pretty bedrooms with two perfectly made twin beds sitting right next to each other.
Both these pillow are sitting in my Etsy Shop waiting for a new home.
