I talked about her shop when it was brand new, but I just got around to purchasing something for the first time from Liz Taylor Handmade.
The aesthetic in her shop is stunning, and her customer service was top notch.
Much to my surprise, I’m smitten with the blue fabric in the picture above. It’s Parisian Blue from Art Gallery Fabrics, and I will likely purchase a bit more for my daughter’s quilt. I originally ordered it for the binding on a quilt I’m finishing up, but now I’m debating whether I want to use it up on that quilt. I may want to save it for something more special.
It’s a perfect medium hue blue. Not quite navy. Not quite robins egg. Right in the middle, and I love it.
I’ve been eyeing the pink and mustard yellow plaid for a while. I even went so far to buy a headband with it from GetzMadeCo. This is my first time, though, with yardage for a project. It’s called Wooly Blush from the Lambkin collection by Bonnie Christine.
I also purchased a half yard of Olivia Dulcet by Art Gallery Fabrics from Velvet Collection (pictured below.) I have a small stack of petite florals ready to be used, when the time is right, for my daughter’s quilt. She’s my fourth, after three sons, and I couldn’t be happier about collecting petite florals.
