Hi, I couldn’t download the bib pattern could you please send it to me. I really enjoy your blog I find many useful ideas on it. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Hello! I’m having a hard time downloading the template. It won’t print from my phone, maybe I need to size my desktop? Would you mind emailing me the bib pattern? Thanks so much!
I just found your post for making the most absorbent bib for babies. I have made multiple bibs that in the end were not absorbent. I’m excited to try you patter/instructions. Can you email all the patterns, instructions and templates that you have produced for this project? I would greatly appreciate any help that you can offer.
Hi Dianne, I just sent you an email with the bib template. I hope you find it helpful! I don’t have any templates for burp cloths, but I do have a few tutorials:
If you want to make this even more “moistureproof”, in between the terrycloth and the cotton backing, add a layer of “PUL”, which is a soft waterproofing fabric frequently used in making fabric diapers. Just be sure to read the “care” instructions for this fabric so it holds up thru many washings. I have found “PUL” at my local fabric stores (but much cheaper at Walmart)! I made many diapers quite successfully with this product!!
Gail, thanks so much for your insight! I have never heard of it before and will have to learn more about it. I appreciate you offering your words of advice. 🙂
Just found out I will be a great-grandmother. I started hunting for bib and burp cloths. I saw this bib and am going to make one for my grandson & wife’s gender reveal party. I will definitely make more after that. So simple and easy. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Phyllis, congratulations on being a great grandmother!! Your new little one is so privileged to have a great grandma who will sew them homemade baby supplies. What a blessing!
Thank you for the pattern. I know I am overlooking something, how does the small piece marked A match up to the large piece A? I have turned it every direction and I can’t figure how how it fits. Thank you again for your time.
