(Update: Cate Sew Modern on Etsy has this currently in stock!)
My balloon just deflated.
After a minor delay in shipping, I received my Nature Study fabric today. It’s from a line called Aviary by Dashwood Studio. (I bought mine from Fabric Fetish.)
I snapped some pictures, and I had already decided to title my post, ‘Beautiful Fabric Alert.’
I think this fabric is beautiful. Those of you who follow here likely enjoy many of the same fabrics as me. I thought you’d find this fabric beautiful too. So I thought I’d tell you about it. Then I was going to tell you where you could buy it.
But I can’t find it anywhere now. Literally, I can’t find it available in any shop.

I was on Instagram the other day when Textile Trolley posted a picture of this Nature Study fabric. She made some quilt kits with it.
Maybe to your surprise, I rarely impulse buy fabric. I have an informal rule with myself to always wait a couple days while the fabric sits in my cart until I actually purchase the fabric.
But this Nature Study fabric? I bought it on impulse. I didn’t delay. I loved the color combinations and the birds and the florals.

So what’s the moral of this post?
I guess we all need to impulse buy fabric. Because if we don’t, someone else does and we can’t buy it anymore.

Thank you so much Cheryl! I see it there now. I’ll update above too.
