I’ve been gathering up all my scraps and favorite fabrics from my little stash as I start a scrappy Dresden Plate quilt. I’ve been experimenting and experimenting until I can figure out how scrappy I want the quilt and which colors I want. Until I can figure out my perfect combination, my Etsy shop will be filling up with all my experiments. 🙂 These plates are kind of hard to part with, but I think they are so pretty.
I’ve been sticking with my original method of sewing Dresden Plates, but I’m considering tryout out a blind stitch to applique them on instead of machine stitching them. What do you think?
